FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 c. cold water
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Cook above until thick and clear; add 3 tablespoons strawberry Jello and 3 drops red food coloring. Stir until dissolved. Cool. Add 1 quart strawberries to baked pie shell.
