QUICK MACARONI AND BEEF BAKE | |
1/2 c. chopped onion 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/4 c. parsley 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 8 oz. elbow or shell macaroni 1 c. grated cheese Saute onion in oil. Add beef and brown. Stir tomatoes, parsley, salt, oregano and garlic powder and simmer approximately 2 minutes. Meanwhile, add 1 tablespoon salt to water and boil macaroni. Cook 6-7 minutes and drain. In 2-quart casserole dish, mix macaroni and 1/2 cup grated cheese. Stir in sauce. Place remaining cheese on top and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
