“PICADILLO” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  POLLO AL HORNO

PICADILLO 
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 onion, 1/2 green pepper and some cilantro chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup homemade sofrito
salt, pepper, adobo and dried oregano, to taste
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 to 2 cups broth

In a skillet, add a little olive oil and sauté onion, pepper, cilantro and garlic for a couple of minutes. Add sofrito and mix around. Add meat and brown with mixture (about 5 minutes). Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for 20 minutes more.

Serve with white rice and tostones.
