COMMUNION BREAD 
3 c. flour (1 1/2 c. white, 1 1/2 c. whole wheat)
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix well, then add: 1/4 c. shortening 1 c. water

Mix and knead for 5 minutes or until not sticky any more. Let stand for 10 minutes. Spread and flatter to 1/4 inch thickness. Shape dough into oval loaf on greased cookie sheet. Etch a cross in center of loaf. Bake about 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
