BRAZIL NUT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Brazil nuts, cut in 3-4 pieces
1/2 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening and sugar. Blend in well beaten eggs; cream well.

Add nuts, coconut and vanilla, then flour sifted with salt and soda. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
