OLD FASHIONED PIE CRUST 
1 lb. lard
6 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold water

Sift flour and salt together. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or fork until pieces are size of small peas. Add water, small amounts at a time and push moistened part to side of bowl. Repeat until all is moistened. Gather up with fingers, form into a ball.
