DATE BALLS 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 small pkg. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
Coconut

Melt butter, add sugar, egg yolks, water and dates. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Cool slightly, add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on coconut and roll into balls. (Can be rolled in nuts or powdered sugar.)
