DATE NUT BALLS 
1 stick butter
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 sm. can coconut
1 c. light brown sugar
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 box powdered sugar

Use heavy saucepan. Melt butter slowly; add sugar, dates and coconut. Cook for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla, Rice Krispies and nuts. Form small balls and roll in powdered sugar. Chill 5 minutes.
