PORCUPINE MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. long grain rice, uncooked
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup, undiluted & divided
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water

Combine beef, rice, egg, onion, salt, 1/4 cup tomato soup, and Worcestershire sauce; mix thoroughly. Form into meatballs using about 2 tablespoons mixture in each one. Brown meatballs in hot salad oil; pour off excess grease and add remaining tomato soup and water. Cover and simmer about 40 minutes or until rice is done. Yield: about 2 dozen meatballs.
