PUMPKIN SQUARES 
CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. quick oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

FILLING:

1 lb. can pumpkin (2 c.)
2 c. milk, scalded
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Combine flour, oats and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly, press into bottom of pan. Bake 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Stir together filling ingredients and pour into baked crust. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until set.

Combine topping ingredients. Remove squares from oven and sprinkle topping on. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before cutting into squares.
