SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
Salt, pepper, allspice, nutmeg, flour & fat
1 c. milk
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. brown sugar

Combine first 6 ingredients and add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, allspice and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. Shape into 16 balls. Roll balls in flour and brown well in 4 tablespoons fat. Remove balls and add liquid. Mix 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 cup water and add. Stir until thick. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Add balls and cover and cook slowly 15 minutes.
