QUICK METHOD BREAD 
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 cake compressed yeast
Scant 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. entire wheat flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. melted vegetable fat
1/2 c. white bread flour

Dissolve the yeast in 1 tablespoon water. Add warm liquid and beat in the white flour to a smooth batter. Cover and warm to rise 30-35 minutes. Add salt, sugar and fat and mix well.

Add entire wheat flour (reserve spoonful for board). Knead until very elastic. Place in oiled bread tin. Brush top with oiled brush; set to warm to double bulk and bake in moderate oven.
