CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa, heaping
3 level tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Mix dry ingredients well. Slowly whisk in water in a 1 quart saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat, then add butter and vanilla. Serve hot or cold over ice cream.

Stir frequently, mixture can burn easily.
