SPANISH NOODLES | |
1/2 lb. pork sausage 2 lg. onions 1/2 pod garlic 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 lb. mushrooms (I used canned) 1/4 c. stuffed olives Pinch thyme, marjoram, sweet basil, bay leaf, salt, black pepper, & sm. amount Tabasco 1 tbsp. olive oil 1 1/2 cans tomato soup 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 green pepper 1 (7 oz.) pkg. noodles Make in Dutch oven. Fry and mash the pork sausage into tiny particles. Pour off all the grease. Pour the grease in a large skillet. Fry the cut up mushrooms in the grease for 10 or 15 minutes. Add olive oil, cook about 10 minutes. Then add garlic, onion, green pepper (all should be chopped fine), spices and tomato soup. Cook a little more, then put in Dutch oven with pork sausage and cook 10 or more minutes. When ready to serve or before, add noodles which have been cooked in boiling salt water and drained. |
