2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 3/4 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves or allspice
1 (12 oz.) can Carnation evaporated milk
1 (9 in.) pie shell

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all of above ingredients. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes, reduce heat, and bake additional 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
