CARAMEL CANDY BARS 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramel candy
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 c. butter, softened
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Heat candy and milk. Mix flour, oats, sugar, soda, eggs. Stir in butter with fork until crumbly. Press half into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts. Sprinkle rest of mixture over top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until brown. Cool, cut into 1 2 inch squares.
