CHOCOLATE OAT BARS 
1 c. unsifted flour
1 c. oats
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass dish).

In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar and butter; mix well. Reserving 1/2 cup oat mixture, press remainder on bottom of 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes.

Pour Eagle Brand milk evenly over crust. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips. Top with remaining oat mixture; press down firmly. Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars. Store at room temperature. Makes 36 bars.
