BAKED LAMB SHANKS 
4 lamb shanks
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. sherry
1/4 tsp. Accent
1 env. mix (1 3/8 oz. dry) onion soup

Trim fat from sides. Brush all sides with sherry. Put shanks side by side in baking dish or shallow pan. Pour into tomato juice, add bay leaf, sprinkle with Accent, pepper and onion soup mix. Cover pan with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Serve with whipped potatoes and green salad.
