RHUBARB COFFEE CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. flour 1 c. sour milk 2 c. chopped rhubarb TOPPING: 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. brown sugar Mix sugar, shortening and egg. Mix soda with flour. Add flour mixture with sour milk and rhubarb. Put in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. |
