SAUSAGE & EGG CASSEROLE | |
4-5 slices white bread, buttered & cubed 10 eggs 2 c. milk (to which add salt & pepper) 1 lb. hot pork sausage, cooked & drained 1 c. grated Swiss cheese 1 c. cheddar cheese Line a 3 quart buttered long casserole dish with bread cubes. Sprinkle sausage and Swiss cheese over bread. Mix eggs and milk; pour over the above. Top with cheddar. Refrigerate overnight. Remove next morning and let sit out for 1 hour. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8 to 10. |
