GRANDMA BAYLAH'S BRISKET 
3 lg. onions, peeled and sliced
2 cans mushroom soup
2 pkgs. onion soup mix
1 lg. brisket

Sear brisket in roasting pan on stove (both sides). Combine onions, soup and onion soup mix in roasting pan coating both sides of brisket. Cover tightly and roast at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn meat over and roast for 1 1/2 more hours. Place brisket on platter, cover with foil. Cool and slice. Save gravy.
