TATOR TOT HOT DISH 
1 lb. hamburger, lean
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (16 oz.) box tator tots
4 slices American cheese
Any frozen vegetable (green beans, corn, peas, mixed vegetables) (opt.)

In casserole dish or 9"x9" pan, break apart raw hamburger in small pieces to cover bottom. Sprinkle salt and pepper over hamburger. Cover with cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute) then layer with cheese. Top with tator tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Mix (mash in) before serving.

If using onions, mushroom pieces or vegetables layer over hamburger before covering with soup. If doubling recipe I use an extra can of soup, cream of chicken or cream of celery.
