CRAFTY CRESCENT LASAGNA 
MEAT FILLING:

1/2 lb. sausage
1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste

Can use about 1 cup prepared spaghetti sauce in place of these items.

In large skillet, brown meat and drain and add other ingredients; simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes.

CHEESE FILLING:

1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 egg
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Combine these 3 ingredients.

CRUST:

2 cans crescent dinner rolls
2 7x4 inch slices Mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. sesame seed

Unroll dough on ungreased cookie sheet, pressing perforations together to form one large 15x13 inch rectangle. Spread half of meat filling lengthwise down center half of dough to within one inch of each 13 inch end. Top meat with cheese filling; spoon remaining meat mix over top. Place cheese slices over meat.

Fold 13 inch ends of dough over filling 1 inch. Pull long sides of dough rectangle over filling, and overlap 1/4 inch. Pinch edges to seal. Brush with milk, sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Serves 4-6.
