2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tbsp. sugar 3 eggs 1 can Geisha baby whole clams (10 1/2 oz. can) 3/4 c. clam liquid (add milk to make 3/4 c. if not enough clam juice) 1 lg. bottle Planters peanut oil, heated to 360 degrees Mix flour, baking powder and sugar. Add eggs and clam liquid and beat until smooth. Fold in clams. Drop mixture by heaping teaspoon into hot oil and fry 6 to 8 minutes until brown on both sides. |
