1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix, make into balls then press with a fork. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
