2 c. sugar 2 c. vinegar 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. celery seed Onion Cucumbers This recipe is for quart jar size but can be doubled, etc. according to jar size. Bring sugar, vinegar and salt to a boil. Slice cucumbers (do not peel) into warm jar with two (2) slices of onion in bottom and two (2) slices of onion on top. Pour brine into warm jar over cucumbers and onions. Add celery seed. Refrigerate 24 hours before eating. |
