WILD FRUIT SOUP
Fruit soups are delicious either hot or cold, for soup course or for dessert.

Wild cherries, plums, or assorted berries are good choices for this treat. You may wish to mix several wild fruits.

Simmer equal parts crushed fruit and water for a half hour. Strain to remove seeds if necessary. Add a pinch of salt and a little sugar (to taste). Thicken with flour - 1 tablespoon flour to a quart of liquid.

Garnish with whole fruit, a sprig of min, or a violet leaf.
