CHILLED FRUIT SOUP 
16 dried apricot halves
8 dried prunes
3 c. cold water
2 med. apples, cored, peeled, and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 env. gelatin, unflavored

Cover apricot halves and prunes with cold water and soak about 2 hours. add apple slices, cover and simmer gently 15-20 minutes or until fruit is tender.

Remove from heat and add cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour off 1/2 cup water and dissolve gelatin in it. Add to fruit and stir gently until well mixed. Chill overnight. Stir before serving. One serving (1/6 recipe) = 2 fruit exchanges. 75 calories.
