FRENCH HONEY BREAD 
1/2 tsp. salt
2 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. honey
6 oz. evaporated milk
1/3 c. milk

1. Stir together salt, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and sugar. Mix in brown sugar.

2. In separate bowl, cream together honey, evaporated milk, milk; add to dry ingredients and stir until blended.

3. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wood toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan before turning out on rack to cool completely.

4. Slice bread thin and serve with butter or cream cheese.
