ALLYSON'S FAVORITE CHOCOLATE
CHIP COOKIES
 
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 1/4 c. oatmeal (blend until powdery)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter with sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend oatmeal in blender or food processor until powdery. Stir in oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chips and nuts.

Drop by large tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 6 to 8 minutes. Time varies, check closely.
