CARROT BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar 2 eggs 2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. finely grated carrots 1/2 c. chopped walnuts In saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar and stir until well blended. Remove from heat and beat in eggs. Beat in all remaining ingredients, except nuts. Pour into two 8 x 8 x 2 inch greased pans or 9 x 13 x 2 inch. Sprinkle chopped nuts over. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut each pan into squares. |
