1 cup minus 2 tbsp. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1 cup peanuts
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
confectioners' sugar, for rolling

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream flour with butter; add sugar. Add remaining ingredients except confectioners' sugar; mix well. Roll into small balls.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Cool slightly; roll in confectioners' sugar.
