SPARERIBS AND KRAUT 
Spare ribs
1-2 lb. sauerkraut
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1 1/2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Brown ribs in open pan at 500 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove ribs from pan and drain off fat. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Mix sauce ingredients. Return ribs to pan and cover with 1 pound sauerkraut. Pour sauce over and bake covered at 325-350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
