ORANGE - CRANBERRY COGNAC PUNCH | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. fresh orange juice 1/2 c. water 3 c. fresh cranberries, rinsed 2 tbsp. cognac 1 tbsp. orange peel, grated 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice Combine sugar, orange juice and water in large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add berries and cook until popped, about 5 to 7 minutes. Mash some with spoon. Remove from heat and cool 5 minutes. Blend in remaining ingredients. Cool completely and put into containers. Refrigerate until served. Makes about 3 cups punch (recipe can be doubled or tripled). Add 1/4 cup more sugar if you want your punch sweeter. |
