POTATOES & ONIONS AU GRATIN 
6 lg. potatoes, peeled & sliced
4 med.-lg. onions, sliced
12 to 16 slices Velveeta
1 lb. bacon, raw
Salt & pepper to taste
butter

In deep casserole, put slices of butter on bottom. Layer bacon, potatoes, onions, cheese, bacon, etc. Top layer should be cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 90 minutes, uncovered.
