FIRE & ICE TOMATOES 
6 med. tomatoes
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 cucumber
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tbsp. sugar

Peel and quarter 6 medium tomatoes. Cut 1 green pepper in strips. Peel 1 onion, slice and separate into rings. Slice 1 large peeled cucumber. Boil together for 1 minute the other ingredients.

Pour the mixture over the tomatoes, green pepper and onion while hot. Let stand until cool, then add the sliced cucumber. Serves 6.
