PARTY CHICKEN | |
1 c. raw rice (not minute rice) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 tbsp. fine chopped onions 1 can water chestnuts, sliced and drained 1 sm. jar pimento 1 c. chopped celery Some sliced fresh mushrooms chicken breasts, thighs, and legs (with skin is better) In a lightly buttered oblong casserole, put the ingredients listed above in order. Top with chicken. Dot chicken with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours, uncovered. Can be prepared earlier, then refrigerate until baking, adding a little more time. I usually mix the first 3 ingredients together first. |
