APPLE CRUNCH 
7-8 Rome apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. each cinnamon and nutmeg

Mix spices with sliced apples. Place in 9 x 13 inch casserole. Stir in sugars. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over apples. Do not stir. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 6.
