SMOKED SAUSAGE WITH CORN
CASSEROLE
 
1 lb. smoked sausage (turkey sausage may be used also)
1 can whole kernel corn
1/2 green pepper
2 c. cracker crumbs (Ritz)
1 c. med. white sauce

Cut sausage in 1/2 inch pieces and mix with corn and pepper. Season to taste.

White Sauce: In saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter. Add 1/4 cup flour, 2 1/2 cups milk. Cook until thick (want gravy consistency).

Place sausage, corn and pepper in baking dish. Mix in crumbs. Pour sauce over mixture and stir. Top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
