SWEET-N-SOUR MEATBALLS 
2 lbs. ground meat (1/2 beef, 1/2 turkey is good)
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 egg

Mix and form into meatballs.

1 sm. can sauerkraut (VERY well drained)
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 (6 oz.) can cranberry jelly
1/4-1/2 c. brown sugar (to taste)
12 oz. water

Cook over low heat stirring until well blended. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve over rice or noodles - OR - to reduce fat content, cook meatballs in microwave while making sauce. Pour sauce over fully cooked meatballs and bake at 350 degree for 15 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
