1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 c. flour

Stir together and drop from spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
