CAKE:

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. vinegar
2/3 c. salad oil
2 c. water

Mix cake ingredients in bowl and make holes. Put 2 tablespoons vanilla in one hole, 2 tablespoons vinegar in one and 2/3 cup salad oil in another. Over top, pour 2 cups water. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or test until toothpick is clean when placed into center of cake.

BUTTER ICING:

1 stick of butter, softened
2/3 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 tbsp. Crisco
2-3 tbsp. milk

Mix above ingredients together and add enough milk for desired consistency.
