2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. boiling water
Cooking oil

Mix meal and salt, pour in boiling water, mixing well. Make in patties the size of a silver dollar and 1/4 inch thick. Pour 1/4 inch oil in skillet and heat. Fry golden on each side.
