OLD TIME COOKED CHEESE | |
1 (16 oz.) carton sm. curd cottage cheese 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. caraway seed (opt.) Leave cottage cheese at room temperature for 1 hour. Mix all ingredients, except caraway seed in a saucepan, let set for 1 hour in a warm, air tight place. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 15 minutes. It scorches easily. Remove from heat and add caraway seed. Pour into buttered dish. Makes 4 servings. |
