ICE CREAM SURPRISE 
2 pts. favorite ice cream
6 chocolate covered cherries
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 1/2 oz. white chocolate
Shortening

Scoop softened ice cream into large balls. Before removing ice cream from scoop, press chocolate covered cherries into center; smooth ice cream over it. Flatten bottom surface and freeze.

Melt semi-sweet chocolate with corn syrup and shortening. Holding ice cream ball on spatula over saucepan of chocolate, spoon on chocolate to coat ball. Freeze.

Melt white chocolate with shortening, don't over heat, it will harden. Drizzle onto balls from spoon. Freeze. If not serving same day, freeze, wrap and return to freezer.
