VIENNA BREAD 
3 pkg. yeast
2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
2 c. milk
4 tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. melted Crisco

Mix first 4 ingredients together and let rise for 1 hour or until double in bulk. Scald the milk, sugar, salt and Crisco. Cool to lukewarm.

Add to above and stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and let rise second time.

Make in 4 (14 inch) loaves. Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise. Brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cut slits in at top with scissors. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
