FRESH TOMATO SCALLOP
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sliced green onions
1/3 c. fine dry bread crumbs
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. chopped, toasted pecans (optional)
5 medium tomatoes
1 tbsp. white wine Worcestershire sauce

In a 2 cup glass measure, microwave cook butter and onion, uncovered, on high 1 minute or until crisp-tender. Add crumbs, cheese, and pecans; toss to mix. Set aside. Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch slices. In an 8 or 9 inch microwave-safe dish, arrange tomatoes in a spiral, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce. Cover loosely with waxed paper. Microwave cook on high 2-3 minutes or until almost heated through, giving dish 1/2 turn once.

Sprinkle the crumb mixture over tomatoes. Microwave cook, uncovered, on high 30-60 seconds more. Makes 4 to 6 side dish servings. (122 calories per serving.)

Great dish to prepare in minutes with those great summer tomatoes!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
