SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
1 can whole tomatoes
2 slices bread, broken into pieces
1 tbsp. butter
Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
1 can French Fried onions

Drain part of juice off tomatoes and put into a greased casserole. Put bread pieces in between tomatoes. Season to taste. Cut butter into small pieces and place around casserole. Crush onions and put on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly.
