SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
2 c. canned tomatoes
4 slices toast, cut in cubes
1 tsp. onion, grated
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter

Alternate tomatoes and toast, ending with toast on top. Pour melted butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in buttered casserole.
