LINUS BLANKET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix 2 cups flour and 2 cups sugar in large mixing bowl and set aside. Put 2 sticks butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup water in pan and bring to boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture and mix well. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk and 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 11 x 16 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

CHOCOLATE ICING: 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons cocoa, 6 tablespoons milk. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 pound powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir well and spread over hot cake.
